Sugar Candy
This wonderful sweet delicious treat is absolutely adored by herbivorous dinos. It is essentially Prime for herbivores. Has a taming efficiency 5x that of vegetables. Crafted in the preserving bin section of the BD Workbench, takes 1 Honey, 1 Mammal Milk, 1 Stimulant, and 10 Mejoberries to craft. It can be consumed by humans, but it will make you thirsty and give you a heck of a sugar rush. Since Sugar Candy is essentially a Vegetable, it can only be used to tame those creatures who accept Vegetables as a taming food

KBDNEW ITEMS
Bio Oil
Obtained from harvesting the corpses or Basilosaurs, this Oil is also passively generated in the inventory of tamed Basilosaurs, and is pooped out by all Tek Dinos except for Tek Mosas. It can be used in place of regular Oil for crafting Gasoline etc, and is an ingredient of Shark Repellent and the Cthulus Blood items.
Mammalian Milk
Obtained by milking female Deer, Sheep, and Phiomias through use of the radial menu. An ingredient for Sugar Candy. Has to be force fed to dinos, but this is a nutritious baby food. Will continually increase a babies food at the rate of 10 per second for 120 seconds, after feeding a baby dino Milk, it will then only request Milk as its preferred comfort food. The exception is Wyverns who will still only ask for Wyvern Milk. Milk can be fed to all babies except Scorpions, Spiders, Reapers, Mantis' and Moths. Feeding Mammal Milk to adult dinos gives them an instant 30 food. A player drinking Milk will recieve a food and water increase over 30 seconds. Regardless of what is consuming the Milk, it always has a 2 minute cool down
Spoiled Milk
Does the exact opposite of Mammal milk and drains food water and health (of players, not dinos), except when given to baby Crabs, Moths, Spiders, Reapers, Mantis' or Scorpions in which case it will have the same effect as regular milk on other babies. An ingredient for Rotten Gloop.
Scorpion Venom
This is an organic version of regular Narcotics and can be used for all the same purposes as regular Narcotics. The one difference is that it does have a spoiling time of 1 hour. It is passively generated in the inventory of the Better Scorpion, where it does have an extended spoiling time
Raw High Protein Meat
Obtained from harvesting the corpses of Phiomias and Daeodons. This highly nutritious meat has rapid healing properties for carnivorous creatures, giving greater health and with less of a feeding cool down than regular Raw Meat. It is not a good taming food.
Raw High Protein Fish Meat
Obtained from harvesting the corpses of Sabertooth Salmon. This highly nutritious meat has rapid healing properties for pescavorous creatures, giving greater health and with less of a feeding cool down than regular Raw Fish Meat. It is not a good taming food.
Tough Hide
Obtained from Alpha Dinos - Tough Hide can be used in place of regular Hide, but is also the main crafting component of Valyrian Reins, a primitive set requires 100 Tough Hide

KBDOTHER ITEMS
Corrupted Costume
Engram learnable at level 50, crafted with Corrupted Polymer, Toughened Hide, Silicate and Element Dust
Can be worn by any dinos that have a corrupted form
Will retain the dinos original colours, Rock Drakes will retain their feathers
When worn the costume will gradually lose durability, keep Corrupted Nodules or Organic Polymer in the dinos inventory to prevent this, it will consume 1 Nodule/Polymer every two minutes.
Whilst wearing the Corrupted Costume, the targeting range of all wild Corrupted creatures is reduced to 1000 (about 3.3 foundations) and your dino will receive 20% less damage from wild corrupted dinos.
Orb Of Staying Power
Made this mainly as a useful test. It can be equipped on a dino either as a costume, or as a saddle skin. Either way, when it is equipped that dino will be completely immobilised (Basically the S+ Hitching Post but without all of the ropes.  The Orb Of Staying Power costs 50 stone to craft and will be found by default in the BD Workbench
Oil Barrel and Barrel o' Monkeys
Used as ammunition by Gigantopithicus in turret mode. Oil Barrel is a potent explosive, the Barrel o' Monkeys is a barrel of monkeys. These do not need to be learned as engrams and are crafted in the BD Workbench
Oil Barrels costs 5 Metal Ingots, 15 Oil, 10 Spark Powder
Barrel o' Monkeys costs 10 Wood, 20 Thatch, 10 Hide
Wire Fish Basket
A stronger version of the vanilla wooden Fish Basket, with more health, and the damage settings of Wood instead of Thatch, making it less likely to be destroyed when basket taming aggressive creatures like Piranhas, Dragonflies, Jellies, or Euryps. Crafted in the BD Workbench. Wire Fish Baskets will retain buffs of captured creatures, and when used for taming will give the tamed creature additional tamed levels. Filled fish baskets created by this basket have a 15 minute spoil timer.

Valyrian Reins
Can be equipped in a flying creatures costume slot to give a variety of effects dependent on the creature they are equipped to. The Engram is learnable at Level 50 for 20 Points and they can be crafted in the the BD Workbench at a cost of 100 Tough Hide, 20 Metal Ingots, 30 Organic Polymer and 5 Oil, or found in the death inventories of Desert, Ice, Forest Titans and Broodmother, Megapithicus, Dragon and Manticore Bosses. Higher grade Reins will increase the armour value and the durability (up to a maximum of 10 for durability) Durability is an important stat for the Reins as a higher value will increase some of the effects. Armour value is removed if equipped on a flyer that is capable of being equipped with a saddle (so full armour effect will only be seen on Wyverns and Griffins) Only Primitive Reins can be crafted.  The effects they have on flyers include the following
Wyverns
Provides extra stamina, increases its ridden speed, ridden rotation rate, (both affected by the Reins durability) Can be equipped on Crystal Wyverns
Quetz
Receives increased ridden speed (affected by durability) and stamina boost
Ptera
Receives extra stamina and a reduced cool down on their barrel roll attack
Argents
Receives a speed boost (increased by durability) and enhanced Stamina
Griffin
Receives extra stamina and the benefits of the armour as well as the ability to pick up larger than usual creatures (up to the same weight as the Argent used to be able to prior to the TLC pass) also an increased dive velocity
Moth
Receives extra stamina and the ability to fly backwards. Riders can use Mounted weaponry.
Pelagornis
Stamina boost
Tapejara
Riders can use mounted weaponry, Stamina boost
Rock Drake
Increased attack speed, Increased Movement Speed and Rotation Rates
Snow Owl
Stamina boost and increase to dive velocity
Managarmr
Stamina Boost, increased Step Height, reduced base stamina usage for jumps and bursts, and the ability to use bite attack while swimming by using the C key. NEW: Reins now increase the Manas amount of jumps and strafes by 1 extra per point of durability the Reins have. So for eg. a Mana wearing Durability 6 Reins will be able to jump up to 9 times, and strafe up to 12 (dependant on stamina of course)
GasBags
Increased Gas/Oxygen Ratio and reduced Stamina usage for air control
Tropeognathus
Unlike other flyers that can be equipped with a saddle, equipping Reins in the costume slot will also give you the additional armour (note that unlike other saddled flyers you cannot equip Reins onto a Tropeo saddle as a skin), Doubles Stamina, improves rate of fire of the flak cannon, improving with higher durabilty, up to 2x faster firing with a set of durability 10

KBDOther Changes
Wild BabiesBabies in the wild will always try and follow the nearest adult if one is available. Getting too close to a wild baby is likely to alert any nearby adults of the same species to danger and cause them to respond. In instances where a dino spawns as a baby and there are no other members of the same species nearby it, an adult dino of the same level will be spawned nearby to protect it.
Wild EggsThese eggs will be in nests. There will only be able to be 1 nest of any species within a certain radius. This will only apply to those dinos that don't already lay wild eggs such as Wyverns, Rock Drakes, Magmasaurs or Deinons
Passive Tame BabiesAllows all wild spawned babies to be passive tamed regardless of their regular taming methods. It will also prevent them from being KO tamed. Be warned though, nearby adults will take exception at you feeding their little bundle of joy. Obviously this may render some dinos untamable as babies as they have specific taming methods that are not compatible with straightforward passive taming such as Tusos or Bloodstalkers

KBDDino Changes
Color codes: [NEW added Content] [NEW added Harvesting] [NEW added PVP features] [NEW added Mechanics]

Ammonite
  • Ammonites will now spawn with randomised sizes.
  • Now bleed blue blood.
Anglerfish

  • Tamed Anglers can be harvested for 25 Angler Gel every thirty minutes via the radial menu. It should be noted that as the Anglerfish changes are achieved via a buff, cryopodding or soul balling will reset the harvesting timer on release.
Allosaurus
  • You can now stand on its back.
  • Reduced footsteps volume.
  • Reduced volume and frequency of idle sounds when idle or running.
  • Reduced stamina usage when running and attacking by 50%.

  • Has 75% weight reduction for Obsidian and 50% weight reduction for Crystal in addition to the existing vanilla weight reductions.
  • Now drop 'Tough Hide' instead of regular hide which can be used to craft Valyrian Reins.
  • Tail swing attack will deal full damage against Rock Elementals.
  • Will not gather berries when using its tail attack whilst being carried by another dino. I'm not sure if that's still actually an issue in vanilla, but my Ankys don't do it.
  • KBD Abilities are able to be toggled on and off using the radial menu under Options.
Tek Ankylosaurus
  • Tek Anky spawns with a 3% chance of replacing any regular or Aberrant Anky, and is added to the Genesis Lunar Biomes spawner.
  • Tek Anky has all the same features as both vanilla and KBD Tek Dinos, as well as all the KBD Anky abilities. Any .Ini configs used for either Tek Dinos or the Anky will also naturally effect the Tek Anky.
  • Tek Anky will not spawn if you have any mod that remaps regular Ankys.
  • Has the KBD Tek Dinos buff meaning that it has a 2% damage and resistance increase, and will poop 'Bio-Oil' instead of regular poop. This can be toggled on and off in the radial menu.
Araneo (Spider)
  • Now able to climb on walls the same as the Megalania. Climbing ability toggled with X key. Does not use stamina for wall crawling.

This attack is only used by tamed spiders and has a 10 second cool down between uses. When used with a rider a cool down timer will appear in the top right corner.
  • Players immobilised by a spiders web bola may free themselves by drawing a sharp weapon such as a sword and attacking with LMB.
  • Now able to jump, and has increased base speed, weight, and stamina.
  • Inventory has increased spoiling times for all items and vastly increased for raw meats (ie. items will spoil faster in their inventory) but a lowered spoil timer for Spoiled Meat.

  • Wild X-Argentavis have a small chance of dropping a set of Valyrian Reins when killed to allow a method of finding higher tier Reins on the Genesis map. This ability will be withdrawn in the future when another method becomes available.
Astrocetus
  • Wild Space Whales will always be visible, even if added to other maps via .Ini or other methods such as Simple spawners.
  • Now will not lose such ludicrous amounts of taming effectiveness per bite of food when taming (reduced the relevant variable from the default 2000 to 2.5 in line with most other creatures. most likely overlooked by WC with the presumption that it wasn't originally intended to be a ko and feed tame)
  • Doubled both the overall movement speed when flying, and the rate at which you can move up through the gears.
  • Increased swimming speed from 300 to 2,500.
  • Increased teleportation range by 50%
  • Has a version of the Huge Water Dino buff making it immune to Jellyfish attacks and prevents targeting by smaller aggressive water dinos.

Beezlebufo

  • Can now attack when in falling state (no more getting air pinned).
  • Increased swim speed and able to pitch up and down when swimming.
  • Can now jump out of water a-la the Manta.
  • No longer takes fall damage.
  • Increased some rotation rates.
  • Can harvest Cementing Paste from Scorpions, Spiders, Trilobites and Euryterids. Note that it will only harvest cementing paste from the KBD versions of these creatures.
  • Can now do a Procoptodon style targeted Super Jump by holding down jump and aiming.
Brontosaurus
  • Right Click does one footed stomp attack, good for getting pesky small critters underneath your body. Does 60 Base damage, same as tail swipe. Which foot will stomp is dependent on the direction your camera is facing. All four feet can be used.
  • C key now does a big two footed rear up and stomp. This is a high quality attack, that can destroy stone and metal nodes (uses the same damage type that I have given to the Better Rock Golem for its spin attack) and can also damage stone structures. Can therefore gather pretty much anything that can be gathered with a pick with this attack, but it is slow and stamina intensive. Does 69 base damage. This attack will deal full damage to Rock Elementals.
  • Doubled base stamina from 240 to 480.
  • Brontos are now immune to all forms of knockback.
Carbonemys
  • Doubled swim speed.
  • Increased swimming rotation rate by 50%.
  • Immune to Jellyfish stings and Eel electrocution.
  • Can harvest Jellyfish for Venom and provides a 3x Spoil timer on venom in their inventory (will only be able to harvest KBD or No Untamables Jellyfish).
  • Carnotaurus
    • Now has bear/rhino style charge build up that increases to a higher than vanilla sprint speed.
    • Will barge straight through trees whilst sprinting.
    • Will inflict a flat 5 damage on any dinos or players it collides with whilst sprinting that does a knock back and bleeding damage, can possibly inflict multiples if charge catches enemy head on.
    • Reduced rotation rates when charging.
    • Reversed animations of attacks so that left mouse button is now headbutt and right mouse button is bite. Cannot use right mouse button attack while sprinting.
    • Increased attack ranges on both attacks.
    • Increased RMB base damage from 35 to 40.
    • Lowered footsteps volume.
    • Will not draw aggro from some smaller wild carnivores such as Raptors, Terrorbirds, Troodons, Compies, Sabers, Thorny Dragons or Megalania.
    • KBD Abilities are able to be toggled on and off using the radial menu under Options.
    Castoroides (Beaver)
  • Beavers will now be able to wander harvest from all sources of wood including those on Extinction that they were not able to before.
  • Can now wander harvest up to 75% of its available weight.
  • Cnidaria (Jellyfish)
    • Now wander naturally instead of sitting still waiting to aggro onto a player or tame.
    • Massively reduced aggro range meaning that you practically have to touch them or attack them before being shocked.
    • Now come in random sizes.
    • Now properly use their unused colour set and appear in a variety of pretty colours.
    • Now able to be captured and tamed by Fish Baskets, although they will be tamed, they will not be able to be ordered (Can be altered via .Ini command), they have no inventory, and will always be on aggressive with the lowest range setting, they will not be able to be levelled, but will also not need feeding.
    • Tamed Jellies can now be harvested for Biotoxin every 30 minutes via the radial menu.
    • The amount of Biotoxin you will receive from harvesting a tamed Jelly depends on the size and the level of the Jelly. Larger and higher level Jellies will yield the most Bio-Toxin (The formula for this is calculated as (Base Level x Size) / 2 and rounded down to the nearest whole number. The maximum amount of Biotoxin that can be gathered is set to 200 by default.
    Coelacanth
    • Will now be properly tamed when being captured in a fish basket meaning that they can gain experience and be levelled and will be able to eat from tribe troughs. Note that after the first capture and release, you will then need to capture and release them a second time using another fish basket, Cryopod, Soul Ball or similar to get them properly tamed and able to gain XP etc.
    • Putting Coels on tamed wandering will produce various resources in their inventories as long as their inventory is at less than 90% of its full weight. Generation speed is effected by the size of Coel, larger Coels will generate resources faster than smaller ones.
    • Resources able to obtained include: Sap, Cementing Paste, Silica Pearls, Organic Polymer, Charcoal, Scrap Metal, Stone Arrows, Tranq Arrows, Metal Arrows, Tranq Darts, all types of berry, Biotoxin, Leech Blood, Ammonite Bile, Squid Oil, Angler Gel, Sulfur, Sand, Crystal, Obsidian, Clay, Ambergris, Plant Species X, Y, and Z Seeds, and Absorbant Substrate. Any of these items can be excluded via .Ini
    • Tamed Coel can be converted back to vanilla at any point, however you will not be able to convert them back to the KBD version as vanilla Coel are unable to be buffed and cannot receive the required conversion buff
    Compy
  • Will now properly lay eggs where they stand rather than where they were spawned.
  • Doubles spoil time of Prime Meats held in inventory.
  • When being carried on your shoulder, pressing your Drag Button (G by default) will summon a pack of between 6 and 11 Compy Friends to come to your aid.
  • Compy Friends cannot be interacted with apart from to whistle orders (no inventory or radial menu) and on spawn will be on Neutral and set to follow your Compy.
  • Summoned Compy Friends have a lifespan of 2 minutes before despawning and will be despawned on Stasis, they will have a random level between 50 and 100 levels less than your Compy.
  • Compy Friends cannot be Cryopodded or otherwise stored.
  • There is a five minute cool down between summons. If you try and summon friends during the cool down period, an on screen message will tell you how long you have remaining before you can summon again.
  • Corrupted Rock Drakes and Wyverns
    • Now able to create wild nests and eggs. These can occur anywhere these creatures are found, they have no set spawning area.
    • Although the laid eggs will say that they were laid by a Corrupted Wyvern or a Drake, they will hatch into completely normal Wyverns and Drakes. These are completely vanilla eggs that are being laid.
    • Corrupted Wyverns can lay any of the four types of Wyvern eggs by default at random (Ice, Fire, Poison and Lightning). You can add an .Ini config that will allow them to also lay any of the three types of Crystal Wyvern eggs as well, and if you also have AAD installed then you can add a separate config to allow them to have a chance of laying a Night Wyvern egg.
    • Note that neither of the egg laying versions of these creatures will be spawned by OSD's, so don't expect to find silly high level eggs being dropped.
    • Both Corrupted Drakes and Wyverns will drop Toughened Hide instead of regular Hide. This can be used to craft Valyrian Reins.
    • Both Drakes and Wyverns have a chance to drop a set of Valyrian Reins when killed just like their regular KBD buffed counterparts.
    Daeodon
    • Can now be harvested for 'Raw High Protein Meat' instead of regular Raw Meat. See the New Consumables section for more information on Raw High Protein Meat and other consumables added by KBD.
    Deathworms
    • Have much improved loot drops.
    • Deathworms have a chance of dropping: Metal Pick, Metal Hatchet, Whip, Fishing Rod, Crossbow, Pike, Bow, Fabricated Pistol, Flamethrower, Stone, Tranq and Flame Arrows, Flamethrower Ammo, Desert Cloth and Flak Armour as well as Ammonite Bile and Bio Toxin in addition to their regular drops.
    • Alpha Deathworms will drop the same as above but in greater quantities and at a higher quality.
    Deinonychus
    • Now have properly colourised bodies.
    • Fixed climbing that was broken by WC with the introduction of the Dinopithicus.
    • Tweaked the size and position of the pack leader buff FX to not be so large.
    • Increased base health by 75% as intended but not implemented by the devs.
    • Has double the stamina of vanilla Deinons.
    • Deinons now spawn with the same level banding as other egg tames such as Wyverns and Rock Drakes (ie. up to 190 on regular 5x difficulty)
    • Can be made to spawn in the wild on maps other than Valguero, and will lay eggs wherever it is made to spawn instead of just on set egg laying points (on Valguero will still use the set egg points)
    • Even if Better Deinon is prevented, vanilla Deinons will still spawn at levels up to 190 (unless prevented) and receive the correct colorisation.
    Dilophosaurus
    • Now come in Small and Large varieties.
    • Now exhibit sexual dimorphism with only male Dilos having a frill
    • Small dilos are fairly unchanged from vanilla. Changed Extra Tamed Speed Multiplier from 0.55 to 0.75
    • Large Dilos come in random size between 1.5 and 2.0, rideable and can be equipped with a saddle.
    • Large Dilos have triple the stats across the board of small Dilos, except for damage. Damage instead scales with the size of the Dilo.
    • Big Dilos will provide a buff to nearby allied small Dilos giving a 20% damage increase and 20% damage resistance.
    • Small Dilos will only inflict their spit de-buff (blind and slow) on players and dinos under 150 drag weight, big Dilos will inflict it upon all targets unless otherwise immune.
    • Improved range and damage of Dilo spit, now scales with melee and does base damage of 12. Large Dilos have a further increased range of spit.
    • Pressing Alt Fire (Left Ctrl) while riding a large Dilo will move the Dilo into an aggressive stance which will last until it is pressed again or another animation interrupts it (eg. bite, eat, swim, jump or poop) This is purely cosmetic.
    • Large Dilos can now utilise different materials in their inventory as ammo for a special spit attack that can be activated by pressing the C button. Different ammo types can be selected via the radial menu. Each use of the special spit attack will consume 10 of the selected ammo from the Dilos inventory, and cannot be used unless the ammo item is present. All of the effects last for 15 seconds.
    Dimetrodon
    • Improved turning radius.
    • Insulation range is now equal to Dimetrodons Health.
    • 'Overheat' ability: Activating Overheat will boost the Dimetrodons Hypothermic Insulation x5, and reduce its Hyperthermic Insulation to 0.2, decreases its effective range by half
    • Overheating will steadily reduce the Dimetrodons Health until it reaches 50% then the ability will stop, cannot be used if the Dimetro is under 50% health, will also put a drain on the Dimetrodons food levels.
    • Overheating will provide the Overheat boost to the following reptilian, synapsid and amphibious creatures within its insulation range giving them a speed, damage resistance, melee damage and stamina usage boost: Sarcos, Kapros, Titanoboas, Carbonymys, Megalania (Reptiles) Beezlebufos, Diplocaulus, (Amphibians) Dimetrodons, Moschops, and Lystros (Synapsids)
    Diplodocus
    • Wild Diplos will do a tail whip or stomp attack against attackers when reaching less than 50% health. They will then attempt to run away.
    • Tailswipe causes a 10 second stun, a small amount of damage and torpor. Creatures stunned by this attack have a 60 second immunity to being stunned again after it wears off.
    • The tail whip cannot harm human characters (to fit in with the dossier, and to prevent OP-ness)
    • Diplos will also not use the tail whip or stomp against unmounted players.
    • Tamed Diplo when ridden has new attacks:

Left Click: Tail Whip as detailed above.
Right Click: One Footed Stomp, 40 base damage, harvests berries and thatch.
C: Regular Diplo 'Nuzzle' attack, no damage, no longer harvests.
X (Prone): Happy Stompy Attack, like the Stomp Attack but multiple times (uses the cuddle animation)

    • Tamed unridden Diplos will still only perform the Nuzzle attack (they love you and trust you to protect them)
    • Diplos can also be put into Turret mode. Whilst in Turret Mode they will be unable to be pushed. Useful for pushing back attackers and keeping them at bay.
    • Has a new 3 seater saddle available at a lower level than the regular 10 seater. This can be crafted in the Smithy Section of the Better Dinos Workbench.
    Direwolf
    • Now able to be equipped with a saddle.
    • Uses sounds from real wolf howls.

    • Can now craft all vanilla stone structures in its inventory when saddled at 2x the regular crafting rate.
    • Takes reduced overall damage, but has a 1.5x damage multiplier to its head and legs.
    • Can now gather up to 75% of its total inventory weight when on wander.
    • Now has a 75% weight reduction on Sand.
    • Increased melee swing range.
    • Relocated poop socket so that baby Doeds will get born away from the mother instead of stuck under her.
    • Walking and running speed reduced by 5%, however...
    • Much faster Roll speed, can now turn when rolling and will destroy foliage that gets in its way whilst rolling.
    Dung Beetle
    • Able to auto-collect dropped poop whilst it is on wander.
    • Able to process poop made stackable by stack mods (provided the stack mod has done things in the right way by making child items).
    • Will automatically distribute fertiliser to nearby crop plots that require filling.
    • Will also collect Lymantria Spores pooped out by the KBD Lymantria.
    • Collection and distribution of poop and fertiliser can be toggled in the Beetles radial menu.
    • Now gendered and breedable. Females must have wandering disabled to be able to mate as wandering is still required for fertilzer production.
    Dunkleosteus
    • Improved attack range.
    • 75% weight reduction for Pearls, Black Pearls, Oil, Obsidian, Crystal, Metal and Stone.
    • Does 10x damage to Eurypterids, 7x damage to Trilobites, and 5x damage to Ammonites. Note that it will only do the increased damage against the KBD versions of these creatures.
    Electrophorus (Eel)
    • Massively reduced aggro range.
    • Increased corpse targeting range.
    • This means that they now behave like proper scavengers rather than aggressively targeting players and tames from miles away.
    • Tamed Eels now do the same damage as wild Eels.
    • Tamed Eels now able to be transported (not tamed) via Fish Basket. Note, due to the small capsule size of the Eel, place the basket as close to the centre of the eel as possible to be able to pick it up.
    • Tamed Eels will now properly use their shock attack as long as there are two or more Eels attacking.
    Enforcer
  • Now takes 60% reduced damage from Corrupted creatures.
  • Immune to Yuty Fear buffs and Radiation.
  • Increased Step Height.
  • Can be equipped with the Enforcer Defence Shield (saddle) which can be crafted in the Smithy section of the BD Workbench.
  • Eurypterid
    • Now able to be tamed via Fish Basket.
    • Now gendered and breedable.
    • Now come in random Sizes. Euryps over 2.0 size are now able to be ridden. Ridden Euryps are now able to leave the sea floor and swim freely.
    • Ridden Euryps gain a right click sting attack that does 5x damage as torpor over 5 seconds.
    • reduced the stamina drain of attacks from -120 over 3 seconds to -50 over 5 seconds.
    • Tamed Euryps will passively generate Silica and Black Pearls in their inventory in small amounts. Production of pearls is dependent on the size of the Euryp, smaller ones will produce less resources at a slower rate, larger ones will produce more at a faster rate. The default for a 1.0 Euryp is 10 Black Pearls and 30 Silica Pearls.
    • Now completely unable to leave the water.
    • Tamed Euryps will eat Spoiled Meat for preference.
    • Will receive 7x damage from Beelzebufo, 10x damage from Dunkle, and 20x damage from Diplocaulus.
    • If also playing with No Untameables installed you can manually convert tamed Euryps between the NU and KBD versions at will.
    • Now bleed blue blood.
    Ferox
    • Many fixes from vanilla.
    • All levels correctly transfer between biggy and smalls.
    • Level ups made when biggy now correctly transfer to smalls.
    • Gets correct tamed levels on tame on both client and server
    • All buffs now transfer from smalls to biggy and vice versa (Shiny Ferox's! Yay!)
    • Serialised many timers to prevent some weirdness when cryopodding or over server restarts
    • Various animation fixes such as missing sounds, melee swing notifies, addiction speed notifies, prevention of movement etc. Now attacks at the same speed when addicted in single player as it does on server.
    • Addiction amount required to mate now configurable by .Ini. Still defaults to 95%
    • Added cosmetic Roar to Left Ctrl (Alt Fire) key.
    • Added new attack to X (Dino Air Brake) that uses a cool unused punchy animation. This hits four times with a slightly higher damage than the regular swipes. This attack is sped up by addiction.
    • Doubled the mass of Large Ferox, and in addition a Large Ferox at over 75% addiction will be unable to be knocked back whilst it is using its swipe attacks.
    Gallimimus
    • Vastly improved turning radius.
    • Reduced fall damage.
    • Reduced volume and frequency of idle sounds.
    • Now uses better running animations.
    • 'Flocking' ability. Groups of Gallis receive enhanced speed and damage resistance the more there are in the group up to a max of 5 (10% extra speed per member, and 3% damage resist per member)
    • Reduced Drag Weight back down so that they can be bola'd/carried by Argents again.
    Gasbags
    • Able to harvest berries.
    • Fall damage multiplier reduced to 20 (from 65)
    • Can benefit from being equipped with Valyrian Reins. See the Valyrian Reins section for more information.
    Gigantopithicus
    • Capable of wielding weaponry and tools (hatchet, pick, pike, sword, club)
    • Can be equipped with 'Ape Armour' which gives it a snazzy chest plate (saddle item).
    • Can also be equipped with a shield of your choice. This is purely cosmetic and adds no additional armour, it just looks cool. As of the time of writing, equipped shields will be dropped when trapping a Bigfoot with a Cryopod, same as with equipped weapons, but also when trapping with a Soul Ball from Dino Storage 2. Lethal is aware and hopefully will be adding support for equipped shields in a future update.
    • Can be put into turret mode and throw explosive 'Oil Barrels', or 'Barrels o' Monkeys' that are crafted in the BD Workbench and placed in its inventory.
    • Has 'Gardening Mode' and when placed in this mode via the category in the radial menu will auto collect all types of Veggies, Narcoberries, and Stimberries from nearby crop plots and add them to its inventory.
    • Has double spoiling timer in its inventory for all types of Veggies.
    • Melee attack has a chance of gathering Longrass and Citronal from berry bushes (if not equipped with a weapon).
    • Has 'Aggressive and Turret Mode' option in the radial menu to quickly place the Bigfoot into Turret Mode and put on Aggressive to start throwing its Barrels.
    Tek Giganotosaurus
    • Tek Gigas will now spawn with a 5% chance of replacing any regular vanilla Giga.
    • This is the Vanilla Tek Giga, with the added BD Tek Buff. Although the Tek Giga is a vanilla, spawnable creature in the base game files, some people are unable to find the spawn code out for themselves, hence listing it here.
    • Despite being in the base game files and therefore freely accessible, it is not actually directly referenced by any maps and therefore to stop it de-spawning on a server restart it must be directly referenced by a mod such as this one, so do bear that in mind if removing the mod and you have no other mods that do so, they may go poof, but will be absolutely fine as long as you have KBD installed.
    • Has been made Cloneable and Up-loadable
    • Has the KBD Tek Dinos buff meaning that it has a 2% damage and resistance increase, and will poop 'Bio-Oil' instead of regular poop. This can be toggled on and off in the radial menu.
    Griffin
  • Now gendered and able to breed. Can gain up to 20% extra speed from imprinting.
  • Removed FPS killing particle effects when hovering.
  • Given an actual targeting team override meaning that wild Griffins will not pointlessly attack every wild dino they see.
  • Increased dive velocity from 4x to 4.5x and improved diving rotation rates.
  • Fixed the Animation Blueprint meaning that wild and unridden AI Controlled Griffins will not suffer from horrible jittery movement.
  • Increased basic LMB attack damage from 27 to 32
  • Reduced melee swing of basic LMB from 750 to 500
  • Can now carry dinos whilst diving.
  • Can benefit from being equipped with Valyrian Reins. See the Valyrian Reins section for more information.
  • Tek Griffin
    • Tek Griffin spawns with a 2% chance of replacing any KBD or vanilla Griffin, and is added to the Genesis Lunar Biomes spawner.
    • Tek Griffin has all the same features as both vanilla and KBD Tek Dinos, as well as all the KBD Griffin abilities. Any .Ini configs used for either Tek Dinos or the Griffin will also naturally effect the Tek Griffin. If the Better Griffin is prevented then the vanilla version of the Tek Griffin will spawn.
    • Tek Griffin will not spawn if you have any other mod that remaps Griffins and that mod is above KBD in the load order, for example Classic Flyers or Naj's Speedy Flyers etc.
    • Has the KBD Tek Dinos buff meaning that it has a 2% damage and resistance increase, and will poop 'Bio-Oil' instead of regular poop. This can be toggled on and off in the radial menu.
    Hesperornis
    • Wild Hesperornis will accept the Better Coel, Salmon and Piranha as taming food.
    • Wild Hesperornis can be picked up by dinos. Tamed Hesperornis still cannot be carried by dinos but of course they can be carried by players.
    • Tamed Hesperorniss will require killing 50% less fish before deciding to lay a golden egg.
    • On taming a wild Hesperornis will automatically convert itself to a Vanilla Hesperornis. The wild remap was required in this way to make sure that it was able to be fed the KBD fish to be tamed as Wildcard have neglected some important checks in the taming logic.
    Hyaenodon
    • Using any of the Hyaenodons special abilities (ie. petting, sitting, standing) on the Alpha will cause the entire pack to do the same.
    • Come in randomised sizes.
    • Improved tamed rotation rate.
    • The very largest Hyaenodons (1.3 sized) can now be ridden.
    Ichthyornis
    • Wild Ichthyornis' will only steal Meat, Berries, Vegetables, or Honey from inventories.
    • Reduced aggro range of wild Ichthyornis.
    • On taming a wild Ichthyornis will automatically convert itself to a Vanilla Ichthyornis. The wild remap was required in this way as the stealing logic is unexposed to being altered otherwise. The tamed Ichtyornis did not need to be altered and so this was the most elegant way of doing it.
    Jerboa
    • Will now spawn at the same level as all other creatures and is not restricted to just being the lowest possible level when wild.
    Kaprosuchus
    • Dropped drag weight to be able to be bola'd/carried by Argents again.
    Kairuku
    • Will not disappear when being over damaged by a high melee dino, allowing them to actually be harvested for their sweet, sweet polymer.
    Karkinos (Crab)
    • Now able to breed. To enable breeding though both the male and female Karkinos must be fully submerged in water to be able to get it on. Lays underwater eggs.
    • Can now attack using its top pincers when in a falling state, eg. when air pinned by enemy creatures.
    • Killing wild Karkinos will sometimes drop 1 or 2 Edible Crab Claws, these can be used in place of Deathworm horns for taming Mantis (for compatibility with my Additional Aberrant Dinos mod which introduces Aberrant Mantis) or can be used in place of Rhino Horns for recipes that require them (ie. Broth of Enlightenment) as Rhino Horns are not readily available on Aberration.
    • Uses same method of carrying with both claws when tamed to prevent dropping things with the right claw and not the left.
    • Able to walk sideways, like a good crab should.
    • New Attack, press X (Prone) when riding to initiate a 360 degree spin attack inflicting multiple hits.
    • Karkinos is now able to be equipped with a small Platform Saddle.
    • Pick up a tamed allied Glowpet with your left claw with the Platform Saddle equipped to mount the Glowpet on the Crabs head and take it for a ride! This serves a practical purpose as all Platform Saddles will block the Charge light buff from being placed on the rider from a shoulder mounted Glowpet, which will cause Nameless to spawn. Glowpets mounted this way will not draw aggro except from Seekers, and cannot be damaged, just as if they were mounted on your shoulder.
    • While a Glowpet is mounted, you can toggle its light on and off by pressing your Alt Fire button (Left Ctrl by default).
    • Glowpet can be unmounted from the Crab by selecting the option from the radial menu.
    • Now able to grab Flyers
    Lamprey and Leech
    • Will now be properly tamed when being captured in a fish basket meaning that they can gain experience and be levelled and will be able to eat from tribe troughs. Note that after the first capture and release, you will then need to capture and release them a second time using another fish basket, Cryopod, Soul Ball or similar to get them properly tamed and able to gain XP etc.
    • Are now properly colourised.
    • Repositioned Leech on screen when attached to character so that it is not right in the middle of your view.
    • Will now only stay attached for a maximum of ten minutes.
    • When the timer runs out, or if the Leech/Lamprey is removed via fire damage, multiuse, or eating Nameless Venom for the Lamprey, the living creature will drop off. Both wild and tamed will then have a five minute cool down where they won't aggro on anything as they are too full of bloody goodness.
    • Tamed versions of both creatures have the ability to attach them to yourself via the radial menu, this will give you the regular Leech/Lamprey debuffs. In addition to the regular Leech/Lamprey debuffs you will also receive other effects:
      • Attaching a tamed Diseased Leech to yourself will give you Swamp Fever.
      • Attaching a tamed regular Leech to yourself will grant you an 'Inspiration' buff, the combination of loss of blood and something in the leeches saliva will grant you a 125% crafting speed buff (similar to Focal Chilli).
      • Tamed Leeches will have Blood Packs in their inventory when dropping off of a player. They will have 2 packs for each minute that they stayed attached.
    • The Lamprey poison debuff will be shortened in duration if you have a higher amount of fortitude, allowing you to recover from that and keep the anti-radiation and charge light buff for the whole ten minutes that the Lamprey is attached (for both tamed and wild Lampreys).
    • Tamed Leeches can be harvested for Leech Blood via the Radial Menu. Tamed Diseased Leeches can be harvested for lots of Leech Blood and Diseased Bile which if consumed will give you Swamp Fever. The amount harvested scales with the Leeches overall health.
    • Tamed Leeches and Lampreys can either be fed Spun Blood Globs (crafted in the BD Workbench Preserving Bin section for 1 Blood Pack) or if attached to a player when dropping off they will have full health and food restored.
    • Lampreys and Leeches are now breedable. They use genderless breeding meaning that both mating creatures will produce an offspring, which is done through gestation. Gestating Leeches and Lamprey's cannot be manually attached to a player, although they can still attach themselves to enemy players and dinos by attacking. This will cause them to lose the baby. Similarly babies cannot be manually attached to players, and baby Leeches cannot be harvested for Leech Blood or Diseased Bile. Both types of babies will request Blood Packs as their cuddle food, but otherwise will eat Spun Blood Globs.
    • Both Lampreys and Leeches will retain any buffs they had when being attached to a player or a dino when they drop off again. This is mainly for compatibility with buff based mods such as Shiny!
    • Tamed Leeches and Lampreys can be converted back to vanilla at any point, however you will not be able to convert them back to the KBD version as the vanilla versions are unable to be buffed and cannot receive the required conversion buff.
    Liopleurodon
    • Complete overhaul of this creature. Spawns alongside the regular sparkly magical one on any map that uses the Island 'Ocean' spawners.
    • Permanent tame, and breedable. The Better Liop has much different stats than the temporary original. Unlike the original, the Better Liop can be grabbed by Tusos and is not immune to Eels or Jellyfish.
    • Can reverse and strafe.
    • Immune to the Salmon Bleed debuff.
    • Can be equipped with saddle which can be crafted in the Smithy section of the Better Dinos workbench.
    • Saddle allows the Liop to carry its rider plus 1 passenger.
    • Gives Liop Oil buff to rider and passenger which gives vastly reduced Oxy consumption, better underwater vision, and increased swim speed while active. Buff will last for a short time after dismounting the Liop.
    • Right Mouse Button triggers 'Chomp' attack, launching the Liop forwards and dealing large damage. The Liop is able to grab small sea creatures this way and chomp on them at its leisure. This attack will be used by wild Liops. If grabbed by a wild Liop causing it damage will eventually force it drop you.
    • C key will be a more gentle grab attack, allowing you to pick up small sea creatures without damaging them for carrying off elsewhere.
    • The Liop is a KO tame, and prefers 'Superior' kibble. For taming and breeding refer to the Plesi food amounts and times although note that the Liop has lower torpor than the Plesio.
    • Can craft a 'Felix Felicitas' Luck Potion in the Liops inventory. This will grant the same loot crate affecting buff as the magical original and lasts for ten minutes.
    • X version of this BD flagship dino spawns on Genesis in the Ocean biome.
    • Liop is now an Oceanic healer!
    • Similiar mechanics to the Deaodon, Liop heal can be toggled as a passive heal, or when riding by pressing your Prone key (X by default).
    • Unlike the Daeodon, Liop healing does not drain food, instead it drains a new stat 'Mana'
Mana can be levelled and has points wasted into Oxygen re-assigned to it.
    • Mana will slowly regenerate over time, or can be restored by feeding Liops 'Mana Restoration Potions' which can be crafted in the Preserving Bin section of the BD Workbench and will restore 100 Mana each. These must be force fed to the Liop.
    • Liops that drop below 10% Mana will suffer from 'Mana Exhaustion', further decreasing its speed, draining its health and increasing its torpidity and causing the Liop to both do 25% less damage and receive 25% more damage.
    • Mana percentage level will be shown as the 'Rage' meter under the main stats.
    Lymantria (Moth)
    • Passively generates Silk in its inventory at a rate of 1 every 3 minutes, up to max of 100.
    • Gas Bomb moved to Right Click attack.
    • Left click is now a melee attack, dealing 12 base damage and can harvest bushes for berries.
    • Poops 'Lymantria Spores' a high fertilizer content poop which cannot be used to make regular compost. Can also be used from your inventory as a Re-Fertilizer.
    • Can strafe when flying and walk backwards.
    • Will receive up to 20% Speed and Stamina increase from imprinting.
    • Can benefit from being equipped with Valyrian Reins. See the Valyrian Reins section for more information.
    Mammoth
    • Left Click tusk attack no longer stops movement and is once more the Mammoths primary wood harvesting attack. This attack will no longer gather berries. If harvesting whilst moving then you will gather mostly thatch. If stationary when harvesting will gather wood using the beavers damage type.
    • Space Bar stomp attack can still be used to harvest berries, but will not harvest wood.
    • Able to craft all vanilla wooden structures in its inventory at 1.5x crafting speed.
    • Capable of using a Mammoth Platform Saddle, can not be carried by raft or platform saddle, or carried by a Quetz or similar if it is equipped with a platform saddle itself.
    • Doubled base stamina, increased base weight, and reduced stamina usage of all attacks by 50%
    • Decreased speed gained on taming from 100% to 35%. Increased base speed and lowered rotation rates. This does mean that the Better Mammoth is slower all told than the vanilla mammoth, however these speeds work much better with the new walking and running animations, and better fit the dossier description.
    Managarmr
    • Will not be targeted by small creatures such as raptors etc.
    • Increased range of breath attack by approx 50%
    • Can benefit from being equipped with Valyrian Reins. See the Valyrian Reins section for more information.
    Manta
    • KO tame rather than passive, prefers 'Regular' kibble.
    • Will flee when taking damage rather than relentlessly attack.
    • Better survivability when out of water.
    • Longer leap out of water.
    • Mantas now able to be transported (not tamed by) via Fish Basket.
    • Lowered damage on land interval and lowered out of water depth.
    Mantis
    • Can be tamed using 'Exceptional Kibble' in addition to Deathworm Horns with the same amount/effectiveness.
    • Now has a regular jump as well as the long pounce jump.
    • Gains a 50% weight reduction for ALL resources.
    Megalania
  • Has increased tamed running speed and rotation rates.
  • Will not lose Stamina when climbing.
  • Increased Claw Attack base damage to 25 and added it to the C attack key.
  • Drag Weight set to 130 and Mass set to 200.
  • Given Carnivores_Medium tag meaning that wild Megalanias will actually be able to hurt other wild dinos they attack when wild and spawned outside of caves, and will only target herbivores instead of, well, everything. Will also target corpses.
  • Removed Mega Rabies from all attacks, instead Megalania bite attacks now have the following effects:

    • 20x damage inflicted as torpor over 20 seconds (at 100% melee bite will inflict 100 torpidity over twenty seconds, compared to Scorpion which at 100% melee will inflict 90 over the same period and require two timed attacks to do so)
    • 2x damage inflicted as stamina drain over 20 seconds.

  • Further attacks will prolong the effects by a further 20 seconds, as long as you can see the red particle effect signifying that the dino is 'Rabid' then torpor will still be rising. Dinos who cannot become torpid will not gain the particle effect.
  • Megaloceros (Deer)
    • Male attack inflicts bleed against all targets, not just players.
    • Bleed does a flat 1% per second drain of Health, Stamina, Oxygen and Food.
    • Lasts for 5 seconds but repeated attacks will extend the buff time.
    • Female Deer now have Reindeer style antlers to cover up the ugly weird indents on their heads.
    • Both genders can now gather berries with a right click attack.
    • Female Deer are able to be Milked every 30 minutes via an option on the radial menu for between 1 and 3 'Mammal Milk'. See the New Consumables section for more information on Mammal Milk and other consumables added by KBD.
    • Removed Idle 'Moo' sound completely.
    • Changed Poop size to small.
    • Wild Male Deer will attack back when aggro'd, females will still flee.
    Megalodon
    • Base damage increased to 45 and improved attack range.
    • Now drop Prime Fish Meat harvested from them by any tool or carnivore.
    Megalosaurus
    • AI grab attacks made an AI special attack meaning that unless enabled the Megalo will always attempt to bite its prey.
    • Vastly reduced effects of daytime debuff, vastly increased maximum sleep debt and threshold that the nasty over tired debuff kicks in.
    • Vastly reduced rate of sleep debt gain and slightly reduced rate of sleep debt regain.
    • Now has Night Vision, holding X (Prone) when riding the Megalo will enable night vision (this is the same as the Snow Owls 'Predator Vision' visual effect). X must be held down to keep the effect, this is not a toggle.
    • Reduced drag weight to be able to be carried by Quetzals again.
    • Will not draw aggro from some smaller wild carnivores such as Raptors, Terrorbirds, Troodons, Compies, Sabers, Thorny Dragons or Megalania.
    Meganeura
    • Doubled in size.
    • Able to be tamed and transported via Fish Baskets. High level cave spawned Dragonflies are unable to be tamed.
    • Tamed dragonflies will receive a gang bonus of up to +8.
    • Able to be carried but not if you are wearing a Glider Suit or Tek Shirt.
    • When carrying a tamed Dragonfly you will receive a big boost to jump height and distance and reduced gravity and fall damage.
    • Breedable by default.
    • If also playing with No Untameables installed you can manually convert tamed Dragonflies between the NU and KBD versions at will.
    Megatherium
    • Altered purely to keep the Bug Killer Buff when killing the remapped Spiders and Scorpions from this mod.
    Mek
    • Take reduced damage from Melee attacks.
    • Immune to, and gives rider immunity to a host of debuffs including Radiation damage.
    • Provides rider with 1500 hyper and hypo thermal insulation.
    • Sword attack stamina consumption halved and removed annoying camera shake entirely from sword attack.
    • Hover height and velocity increased.
    • Heat accrued from hovering and using pistol significantly reduced.
    • Fuel burnt by using pistol reduced.
    • Increased Step Height.
    • Meks now do not draw aggro from many creatures to prevent the stupidity of 80 foot robots being attacked by very small dinos. Note that they will still draw aggro from all Corrupted creatures as they are brainless and dumb.
    • Now uses the better and unused running animations.
    • Can disable harvesting via the Radial Menu.
    Microraptor
    • Wild Microrapotors have their Max AI Height Difference reduced from 325 to 160.
    • This means that wild Microraptors will not attempt to perform their stun attack if a rider is on a smaller dino than they previously would. Eg, you should be safe on a Parasaur or bigger, whereas before it was bigger than a Carno to be safe.
    • Micros who have the high ground may still be able to lauch themselves.
    • It will revert to 325 after the Micro is tamed so PvP with Micros is unaffected.
    Morellatops
  • Head attack will no longer stop movement.
  • Stomp attack damage increased to 38.
  • Maximum Water amount increased to 1000.
  • If placed near to Crop Plots will add water to them from its own reservoir at the rate of 5 water approx. every ten seconds (Note that this will not happen if the Morella is in stasis)
  • Now immune to the effects of Sandstorms.
  • Mosasaur
    • Now has the Huge Water Dino buff, which means that no other creatures will aggro on it with the exception of wild Mosasaurs, Tusoteuthis, Liopleurodons, and Plesiosaurs.
    • Now able to pitch up and down for more fluid movement through the water.
    • Now immune to Jellyfish and Eels stun attacks.
    Tek Mosasaur
    • Tek Mosa spawns with a 2.5% chance of replacing any regular Mosa. Does not spawn on Genesis 1.
    • Tek Mosa has all the same features as both vanilla and KBD Tek Dinos, as well as all the KBD Mosa abilities. Any .Ini configs used for either Tek Dinos or the Mosa will also naturally effect the Tek Mosa.
    • Uses the unused Tek Mosa model which is otherwise only available as a costume.
    • Tek Mosa will not spawn if you have any mod that remaps regular Mosas.
    • Has the KBD Tek Dinos buff meaning that it has a 2% damage and resistance increase. This can be toggled on and off in the radial menu.
    Moschops
    • Whilst not directly affected by KBD, it should be noted that the Moschops is able to harvest Raw Prime Fish meat from the KBD Salmon, unlike the vanilla.
    Oviraptor
    • Does not require wandering to provide egg boost.
    • Egg boost can be toggled on and off in radial menu (turned on by default).
    • Increased egg boost range to 3000.
    • Can be set to gather dropped eggs (range is the same as egg boost) via radial menu. Regular Eggs and Fertilized Eggs can be toggled individually. Setting the Oviraptor to gather Regular Eggs will also see it collect pooped Bio-Oil from KBD Tek Dinos.
    • When gathering eggs the Oviraptor will spawn a nest to place them in at its feet:
      • Oviraptor Nest has 50 slots.
      • Can only hold eggs and Bio-Oil, and only the Oviraptor can place items into the nest.
      • Nests cannot be damaged, however unless the Oviraptor who spawned the nest is in very close proximity (within a foundation or so) to the nest it will destroy itself on un-stasis and its contents will be lost.
      • Nests can be locked, and destroyed by the owning player or tribemates.
    • Now gets taming affinity according to the class of eggs rather than specific eggs (in most cases) preference is in order of size:

      Wyvern/Drake/Magmasaur/Yuty
      Extra Large + Deinonychus
      Large
      Medium
      Small
      Extra Small

For the purposes of taming Hesperornis Golden, Aquatic, and Insectoid eggs count as Extra Small
    Ovis (Sheep)
    • Now able to harvest bushes.
    • Female Ovis are able to be Milked every 30 minutes via an option on the radial menu for between 1 and 3 'Mammal Milk'. See the New Consumables section for more information on Mammal Milk and other consumables added by KBD.
    Pachycephalosaurus
    • Increased size, speed and improved stats from the vanilla.
    • Capable of a short Trike style charge by holding down Right Mouse Button.
    • Charge attack damage and instant torpor scales with melee damage.
    • Can harvest from bushes and rocks with Left Click.
    • Not very good at harvesting Stone, Flint or Metal, but very good at harvesting Crystal, Obsidian, and Element Dust. Charging through rocks etc. will increase the amount gathered.
    • Hugely increased spawn numbers as they will now spawn wherever Trikes can spawn, both to increase the numbers of Pachys and decrease the numbers of Trikes.
    • Saddle engram has been remapped to reflect the Pachys new improved station and is now available from level 16.
    Pachyrhinosaurus

    Pegomastax
    • Reduced aggro range and will only aggro on players on foot and ignore mounted players and tamed dinos (unless attacked).
    • Pegos are unable to steal Cryopods and will not consume stolen kibble (note that this does mean that they are now unable to be tamed with kibble since the kibble rework. They can however be tamed by using Sugar Candies with the same effectiveness as the vanilla Pego has for Simple Kibble.)
    • Will suffer hilarious effects if stealing explosive or tranquilizing objects from players inventory when wild.
    • When tamed and wandering will have a chance of finding rare or useful items or resources as they harvest bushes. • Overall spoiling multiplier of Scorpions inventory reduced from 4x to 2x (meaning that all consumables will spoil quicker than a regular dinos inventory, but will still last twice as long as in a players inventory)
  • Raw Meat, Cooked Meat and Mammal Milk (obtained by milking the KBD Megaloceros, Ovis, or Phiomia) spoils rapidly when held by Scorp making it an effective tame for rapidly spoiling meat.
  • Conversely, the Scorpion now has an increased 8x spoil timer for Spoiled Meat, Nameless Venom (and by extension Cthulhus Blood) Spoiled Milk and its own Scorpion Venom.

    • Decreased Untamed Running Speed Modifier from 0.9 to 0.7. Wild Raptors will still be faster than before, but not nearly as fast as tamed.
    • Fixed the janky animation issue that would cause Raptors to be slowed if attacking when walking or running. Replaced the moving attack animation to be one that does not cause hideous distortions of the arms as it attempts to claw its own throat out. This animation is slightly slower than the vanilla but I feel that's a fair trade.
    Reapers
    • Now immune to the Yuty fear roar.
    • Now do not take fall damage.
    • 'Acid Blood': Reapers now inflict an acid blood debuff on nearby enemies whilst they have any sort of bleeding debuff causing -15 Health and -5 stamina per second. • Added an aesthetic Roar to C Key.
    • Saber now does increased damage against Pack and Gang Dinos with its left click attack, gaining an extra 35% damage for each of the following traits the victim dino possesses:

      • Is Gang Dino (will have +1, +2 etc. above its head)
      • Is Pack Dino (Is a child of the pack dino base class, ie. can have a pack leader and pack bonus, eg. Allo, Direwolf, Raptor, Ravager etc.)
      • Has Pack Buff (ie. Direwolf or Raptors after the pack leader has activated the pack buffs)

    Sabertooth Salmon
    • Will now be properly tamed when being captured in a fish basket meaning that they can gain experience and be levelled and will be able to eat from tribe troughs. • For taming times and food, refer to the original Trike.
    • Like the Trike, has a charge attack triggered by holding down and then releasing the RMB. This charge attack inflicts a debilitating impaling effect that causes a 3% over 10 seconds bleed, massive speed reduction, and a 25% reduction to the victims melee damage. Triceratops
    • Size increased by 30%
    • All stats increased by 50% from vanilla, this includes required Affinity for taming, as well as an additional boost to torpor.
    • Trikes are now Pack Dinos, and as such the Pack Leader will receive an additional damage and resistance buff. Pack Leaders for regular and Aberrant Trikes can be identified by their glowing red frill.
    • Preferred taming kibble changed to Superior Kibble. Please bear in mind that when taming a Trike if you are referring to a taming calculator such as DodoDex, you will require more (and different) kibble than it states, and it will take longer as well as requiring more tranqs to KO.

    • As the Trike is very much improved over the vanilla version, it can no longer really be classed as a starter dino, and therefore the level of its saddle has been raised to 34. Should you wish to lower, or even raise this even further via .Ini, please refer to the new engram entry below.

    • Tek Trike has all the same features as both vanilla and KBD Tek Dinos, as well as all the KBD Trike abilities. Any .Ini configs used for either Tek Dinos or the Trike will also naturally effect the Tek Trike.
    • Has the KBD Tek Dinos buff meaning that it has a 2% damage and resistance increase, and will poop 'Bio-Oil' instead of regular poop. This can be toggled on and off in the radial menu.
    • This is a unique named remap rather than a same named remap due to its introduction being before Wildcard added the Tek Trike as a vanilla creature in the game, and as other mods were also using the vanilla naming convention it was necessary to make it a unique name to prevent conflicts. Therefore, should you wish to remove KBD from your game, make sure that all Tek Trikes are converted to Vanilla first to make sure they do not get lost.
    Trilobite
    • Will now be properly tamed when being captured in a fish basket meaning that they can gain experience and be levelled and will be able to eat from tribe troughs. • Tamed Trilobites can be picked up and carried by players.
    • Trilobites will now passively generate Silica Pearls and Oil in their inventories. Generation speed and max amount of items that can be generated is effected by the size of Trilobite, larger Trilobites will generate resources faster than smaller ones and in larger amounts.
    • Tamed Trilobites can be converted back to vanilla at any point, however you will not be able to convert them back to the KBD version as vanilla Trilobites are unable to be buffed and cannot receive the required conversion buff
    Tropeognathus

    • Can now sprint when flying normally, and is able to walk backwards when landed.
    • Can toggle the ability to fire the cannon when not super boosting by pressing G whilst riding.
    • Now has a 'Primitive' saddle available that can be crafted in the Smithy section of the Better Dinos Workbench. This is obtainable earlier than the cannon saddle, and although the Tropeo is rideable without a saddle, will help to provide some armour to your Tropeos, or can be used in place of the cannon saddle if your server prefers a more primitive play style. Note that although this saddle uses the Tapejara saddle model, it is only capable of carrying a rider, and not any passengers.

    Unicorn
    • Has a 10% increase in size, tamed health, damage, and speed.
    • Horn is now colourised and glowy. In addition the Unicorn now uses its colour regions and therefore is able to be admin coloured, gain event colours, or mutations etc.
    • Now able to become a magical Pegasus by using the C attack whilst riding. Pressing G (Drag) will revert it back to regular Unicorn mode. This does of course allow you to fly, and provides a close range AoE buff to allied dinos providing health regen. and boost to XP gain (only provides health regen. if allied dino is under 80% health. Does not effect Unicorns themselves).
    • Being in Pegasus form will drain your Mana over time. Max Mana is equal to the Unicorns Max Stamina stat, and as such will increase with increases to the Unicorns stamina. Mana can be topped up by force feeding the Unicorn Mana Restoration potions, and will regenerate over time when not in Pegasus form. Be careful that you don't completely deplete your Unicorns Mana, if it does get completely used up and reaches zero, you will not be able to use it again until you have regained a minimum of 80% Mana.
    • Is unable to fly on those maps where flyers are prevented such as Genesis (but will still be able to be ridden and use magical buff)
    • Note that as the Unicorn is now classed as a flyer it cannot be picked up except by those creatures that are able to grab flyers, eg. Megalosaurus and KBD Crabs.
    • R-Unicorn has a very small chance of spawning in place of any Eden Equus.
    Vulture
    • Can now be properly commanded to attack targets.

Female Crystal Wyverns can be harvested for Primal Crystal instead of Wyverns Milk, and female Void Wyrms will be harvested for Element Shards. • Now drop 'Tough Hide' instead of regular hide which can be used to craft Valyrian Reins.
    • Crystal Wyverns can be given their skull helmet by toggling it in the radial menu under Options.

    • Can benefit from being equipped with Valyrian Reins. See the Valyrian Reins section for more information.
    Yutyrannus
    • Altered attack animations. Bite animations have been sped up, and the Headbutt attack does not stop movement, in addition the attack interval has been removed.
    • Yutys now provide 100 Hyper and Hypo Thermal insulation to their rider.
